Connect mobile via Bluetooth with Winfonie mobile 2

This article is about cell phones with a bluetooth connector which do not require the Nokia Connection Manager. We created a list of connection types for our software Winfonie mobile.

Supported Bluetooth stacks

Winfonie mobile 2 supports the following Bluetooth stacks:

• Widcomm Bluetooth stack (version 1.4.2.10 SP 5 or higher)

• Broadcom Bluetooth stack

• Microsoft Bluetooth stack

• Toshiba Bluetooth stack

• BlueSoleil Bluetooth stack (version 1.6 or higher)

First the phone's Bluetooth interface has to be switched on, the setting visible for other devices has to be activated. Now the phone can be connected by clicking Autodetect. It will be necessary to excahnge a Bluetooth password.

After entering the password in the phone the following or a similar message will appear in Windows:

Click on this message and enter the pass code.

Now the Bluetooth connection between phone and pc should be established.

If the connection cannot be established, you should switch your phone off and on or delete it from the pc's Bluetooth environment and add it again.
